Dear Brethren,

Build up to Elections

The tension is building, the election is just behind the corner. Registration started yesterday and it would end on the 18th march. Many bad things are happening. Children are going missing especially girls; they are using them for sacrifice to help them for the election.

All the three main candidates are Church-going Christians. I am acting as the chaplain to one of the Parties. I organises prayer meeting with them and also had the opportunity to talk with them and share the gospel with them. I am intending to move to the other parties as well. I am moving around Churches, clubs and organization encouraging them to get involve in the process. People don't want to vote. Things are difficult, they don't believe anyone.

The good thing the presidential candidate I am praying with decided to help with inter churches athletics competition on 31st March. I am inviting all of them to come and grace the occasion. We look forward to us enjoying it. The purpose of this competition is EVANGELISM, FELLOWSHIP, and RECREATION FOR CHURCHES AND SITING AND DEVELOPING TALENT.

Please pray for wisdom as I work among them. Sports Life. The churches are doing fine, I am just coming from Kono to get them to involve in the political process. To see and supervise the work. The two schools are growing wonderfully. Education is such a vital and necessary aspect for development and stability of this Nation.

This is the first election after peace came back to Sierra Leone. It is very important and necessary that you pray. I will continue to keep you updated as to progress.
