Gallery 2008 - Sawolla

Sawolla town is about 15 miles from Koidu. The road is very poor with only the best 4 wheel drive vehicles being able to negotiate the rough terrain. Fortunately motor bikes are more efficient in this rough terrain, but they remain the only effective form of transport (apart from foot).

There is great enthusiasm at Sawolla church which recently celebrated the opening of its new building. We hope to be able to provide Pastor McCarthy with a motor bike in order to be able to visit this parish on a more regular basis.
