Gallery 2009 - New church and school buildings

In 2009 the construction of the new Koidu church under the leadership of Pastor James MacArthy made great progress and subject to further fundraising will be open for use in 2010.

The splendid St Andrews Maima school extension has been funded by the Sierra Leonean Government. A real endorsement for both this school and the model of such schools being started by charitable organisations on a "seed corn" basis for subsequent adoption by the Government once the school has established a track record of providing good education and meeting the needs of the local community.

The Bungalow school is overflowing with children and their infectious enthusiasm. Thanks to the Step by Step Nursery in Scotland for their practical support of the school which has included providing funds for books, teachers and a new classroom.
