News 2009 - December

We were delighted to help host Reverend Pastor Yatta Samura’s recent UK visit and for so many of us at St Andrews to have the chance of hearing him speak. It was good to see his wife Victoria accompany him to Oxford. Over the last month Yatta has attended a sports evangelism conference in the USA and a Sierra Leone conference in London hosted by Tony Blair. We are now helping Yatta’s wife Victoria fly back to Sierra Leone after a 14 year absence. Victoria sends her thanks below:

Dear Friends of Sierra Leone,
Thank you very much for all your help and support. I have now got the ticket. Can you extend my heart felt appreciation to all supporters.  May God enrich you all and bless you.  Going back home after 14year makes me filled with so much emotion. I can't wait. I am a bit scared of flying so I will value your prayers.  I have just spoken to my Mummy and she's in floods of tears (of joy).  Just can't wait to see her again. Thank you once more.
Victoria.
